Honk for Justice

The support of the public was overwhelming. Our call for support was greeted with a barrage of honking horns and smiles from motorists. The honking conveyed the message that the public condones with our struggle. I have felt a virtual affirmation from them that justice is always worth fighting for.

One curious motorist rolled down his window and asked out of curiosity what we were fighting for. Jason quickly responded and told the gentleman about how the new contractor cut our wages upon its transition. The man asked who Stanley was. I asked him if he was aware of the passport scandal. He nodded. I told him "that is the same contractor". He sped away, seemingly amused.

A Federal employee was driving out of the Federal grounds. She was one of the many Federal employees who found entertainment with the messages we had on our placards. I was holding the sign that says "We are not Harvard graduates but we know a CHEAT when we see one". She looked at me and smiled, shook her head and gave me an affirming thumbs up.
